She's gone dark, after years of being the blond bombshell, she's trying something new. I love her new look. She just looks more like Julia Roberts to me now.

Roneisha

Well I think I've finished with my little family series, from now on will just concentrate on a face photo that I've taken. But I may go back and do some old family ones sometimes. I'm hoping to post a face a day, maybe more. But at least one a day if I'm lucky.

Little Mike

We should of known one day that little cowboy and that little sailor were going to meet.

The face I look at every day

besides the one I look at in the mirror! And it's soon becoming a very photographed face as well.

That's me

Dressed up in my little cowboy outfit. I had more hair then as you can see.

My face

Everyone at work tells me I look like Dr. Phil, sure wish I had his money, I don't really think I look like him, but in this picture I definately see a resemblance.

Baby Brother

They say the best comes last, well 12 years after I was born the one of the best additions to our family was born. Finally a brother. Wish I still had all those letters I used to write to God, all the promises, if only I could have a brother. I prayed "Let me have a healthy brother or sister, but please let it be a brother." Well my prayers were answered. I remember Lance was sick with yellow jaundice when he was born. He had to lay under a lamp with little baby sunglasses. it disappeared and he finally got to come home to us. I remember the first time he smiled at me. We all loved him so much. He's always been such a sport and smart as a whip. I only got six years at home with him. I always wished I'd had more. He was a little karate expert, I remember taking him to karate and picking him up so many times. I'd have these little adventures with him and act like we were going to another place while driving home, he'd say Hawaii, then when we're almost home he'd get scared and cry and say he really wanted to go home. He's always been a very loving person, now he's a man, and I still think of him as that baby brother. He's got this wit that everyone loves, and he makes me laugh. He was a great baseball player. Well I've told you about my memories of my brother and sister's. Now we're all grown so I guess anything from here on will be more of what's going on with our lives now, I may fade back to memories every now and then too.

The Youngen

Well as much as I was hoping I was going to have a new brother or sister born on Halloween, it didn't happen. But I did get my wish on a new brother. When Lance was born, I looked so forward to sharing all of life's little adventures. As I've said in some old entries, I prayed for a little brother from the time I found out my mom was having a baby. He came into this world and was so loved by us all. I think we all loved having his attention. I wanted him by my side, I wanted to show him things. I still remember his first smiles. He always had a light in his eyes burning. Always with love. I can't remember anything other than that, it shines naturally in him. Autumn, Eli, and Ethan are the same way. There are many treasured memories I hold dear and so much laughter. Seems the world we live in is so busy. Seems time is just going by quicker and quicker, even though he still seem really young to me. Man twenty six. He's the best bro anyone could have.

Here's little brown eyes

Something about this picture even reminds me of my Nana, not sure what it is. Dena was such a little baby girl, I think she weighed 20 lbs for years.

Brown Eyes Like Me

Well a couple years after Sherry came into our lives, we were blessed again with another angel. Dena; all I remember is how small she looked and she had brown eyes just like me. Dena loved the outdoors, and animals; especially dogs and cats. She was tough and had her share of broken bones. She went through a tomboy stage. She never cried when people got hurt on television, but let an animal get hurt and her eyes would ball up with tears. Animal's loved her too. She was always our Nana's special little girl. They were alike in many ways. Dena makes everyone proud, she's like a little ray of sunshine everyone is drawn too. She beautiful but it hasn't gone to her head. She's easy to admire not only for her beauty , but also her inner beauty. She has lots of faith. I love my both of my sisters. I took this picture right outside of her house in her front yard, with the dirt road and the cotton field in the background, not much cotton left in the cottonfield.

Blue Eyes

And here's those blue eyes that came home to me all those years ago.

My Sister Sherry

Sherry, my sister has always been a blessing for me. I was 3 when God gave me a baby sister. I remember running to greet her at my grandparents when she was brought home from the hospital. A little angel, I thought when I looked up in my mom's arms; these big blue eyes peering down at me. Sherry was one of my first influences. We were inseparable. She was tough too. I would knock her down and she'd say, "that didn't hurt." She also caused me a great deal of whippons. I really love her a lot. People would say I acted more like her father than her brother. She's not only beautiful on the outside but inside too. She's funny with a great sense of humor. We may not be perfect, we had our shares of fights, time of trouble, plenty of laugh's, and we could always trust each other through anything. She was something back then a little ballerina and tap dancer. Then she won Little Miss Sweet Potato. I remember being so proud of her when she won. I've been equally as proud of the young lady she's become. She's so smart and has a big loving heart. When she was young she loved for me to take pictures of her. She doesn't like her picture taken as much these days, I was lucky enough to photograph some beautiful pictures of her wedding last year. I love this shot of her too, just captures her natural beauty.
